Polymer Scientist

AST Products, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent polymer chemistry knowledge to work in the Research and Development lab.  This position requires a minimum Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising and performing antimicrobial tests, mixing & testing solutions, setting up coating apparatus, performing medical coatings, testing the coated devices, and summarizing the test reports.  Previous laboratory GLP/GMP/cleanroom experience is a plus.  This person needs to be detailed oriented with a concern for accuracy.  They also need to have excellent communication skills and work well with all departments.

Associate Scientist

AST Products, Inc. is looking for an independent worker with a Bachelor of Science degree or an Associates Degree in the Science field and 1-3 years experience to work in the Research and Development Lab.  This person would work directly with the Scientists/Engineers performing antimicrobial tests, mixing & testing solutions, setting up coating apparatus, performing medical coatings, testing the coated devices, and summarizing the test reports.  Previous laboratory GLP/GMP/cleanroom experience helpful.  Candidates should be excellent in math and computer skills, be detailed oriented with a concern for accuracy, and be able to communicate well.
